ABOUT ME

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, I live with my husband Peter and 7 month old daughter Rebecca.  I have completed all relevant and obligatory courses - So I am fully qualified. This includes' Childcare Practice’ college course, together with courses in child first aid, child protection and food hygiene. I also have policies and procedures in place to meet the 14 Ofsted National Standards for under 8’s. This is all available for your inspection.

My home is very child friendly with a wrought iron gated front garden/driveway and a secure tall fenced back garden which children can safely play in. I have ensured my home is safe for children with fitted stair gates, plug socket covers, cupboard door safety catches etc.

My home has been recently inspected by a Government Official from Ofsted as recently as December 2006 and my certificate is available for your inspection. Obviously this means we have passed all safety checks both from the inspectorate and police.

I provide a wide range of toys, books and activities to meet all needs and age ranges. I believe strongly in engaging with children and helping them to develop at their own pace to the best of their ability.

I do not allow any smoking in my home. I have a full clean driving licence. References are available for inspection from other satisfied people. You can be assured of peace of mind when leaving your child in my care to allow you to go to work without worry.
